Old-school hands,
house rules.

Sunrise by name. After dark by trade.

Duskline is one room, four chairs, and a door that stays open later than it probably should. We took the corner unit because of the window: at seven in the evening the light comes in low and sideways and makes every line you cut painfully obvious. Good. That is the point.

Most shops in Sunrise close while the sun is still up. We run late six nights a week because the people who care most about their cut are usually the ones still working at five.

The last chair of the night gets the same towels, the same blade, and the same forty-five minutes as the first.

Nobody here is going to rush you into a chair or talk you into a cut you did not walk in for. You sit down, we talk for a minute, and then it goes quiet and we work.

Come as you are. Leave sharper.
Your barber remembers your cut. You just sit down.
Kids get the same chair and the same care.
If the line is not right, we run it again.
No rush and no attitude. The chair takes the time it takes.

Seen the room.
Now sit in it.

The pole is probably turning right now.
